The layout, the neighborhood, getting around, and more…
The Layout:
Freshly remodeled 900-sq. ft. private unit in Mid City area, minutes from the primary San Diego freeways. Unwind after a day in sunny San Diego by cooling off with the AC or enjoying your own private backyard, patio, etc. 2 private parking spaces in back, and a large background for your dog to run around. Quiet family neighborhood. You’ll also appreciate the convenience of smart locks on both the front and back doors.
The duplex is perfect for 1 person or a couple. The bathroom is accessible from both the bedroom and the kitchen, so anyone sleeping on the sofa-sleeper has access to it.
While there is space for 3-4 to sleep comfortably, the 2 outside the master bedroom will be sleeping on the sofa-sleeper. It is a top model one with all sheets, towels, pillows, and comforters included.
More about the unit:
This 1-bedroom, 1-bath home offers a cozy stay complete with a brand-new queen size bed and a Smart TV with superfast Internet to stream Netflix and many other channels.
Just like home, the kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, cutlery, and even paper goods and cleaning supplies. And to make life even easier, the unit includes a washer and dryer.

About the neighborhood
In the last 5 years, this neighborhood has seen major economic development and is now booming with new business and people moving in. There are now many small markets, supermarkets, chain restaurants, Starbucks, and other shopping opportunities. A few years ago, they built a beautiful, super large, new YMCA nearby with an excellent pool and a skate park for the kids, and it is within walking distance of two city parks. This facelift was more than skin deep. It is safe, attracts many families, and has lost its once-shaky rap.
How to get around
Public transportation ANYWHERE is San Diego is not good; sorry, but it isn’t San Francisco or New York. This location, however, is so central you can be anywhere (Hillcrest, Downtown, even the beaches) within 15 minutes with a cheap Uber/Lyft ride.
Cozy unit with all the trimmings. I don’t have a dog, but like the deck, BBQ, and back patio. Having a full kitchen and big TVs is a major plus. I like that everything I need is here. Thumbs up!
I had a great stay at this property. Very tranquil, clean, and a safe neighborhood. My dog was so excited. A huge backyard (and front yard) to run around in. So hard to find a dog-friendly place in San Diego and this one is human friendly also. I love the fully loaded kitchen and the central location. Thank You!
